Wine Cork Herb Markers #spdl

I actually saw these last year and thought that they were adorable and in all honesty I've just been down right too lazy to do it.This is the original pin.

Since winter has been dragging ass in these here parts, I have had no motivation to do anything outdoorsey until this past Monday! It was 65 degrees and sunny!
I also stopped by Christina's blog again, and I loved her herb garden so she also inspired me.
Here is my version!

First, I went to home depot and bought my Herbs and pot to put them in. And just so you know, I do not pronounce herbs as "erbs", the "H" is there for a reason and I always use it.
 Plant your Herbs.

Drink your wine and gather your corks, along with shish kabob skewers and a drill. Make sure you have just as many corks as herbs. Oh and grab a sharpie.

Use a bit and pre-drill holes into your corks for the skewers. 3/16th's was the size bit that I used.

Label your corks to match your herbs

And then stick them in the pot to ID your herbs!

Linking up today with Katie and Steph!

  3. What people don't pronounce the H? Say what?! This is a cute idea. My yard is way to small for a garden so this would be more manageable for me. Very cute!

  4. I totally don't pronounce the H and I laughed all the way through this post because every time I read "herbs" I pronounced the H just for you... sounds funny to me! Anyways, super cute idea!

  14. Super adorable! My Dad and sister are in the process of planting a garden for this summer and I know they're gonna plant some {H}erbs, so I might have to get on drinking some wine to collect some corks to recreate this for them! ;) haha.
