Jack-O-Lantern Spooktacular

One of the biggest bonuses about living near Cape Cod in Massachusetts, is that you are close to everything.
New Hampshire is 2 hours away, Boston is 45 minutes and Providence is about a half an hour.
Fall and New England are the perfect match if you ask me.
Between foliage, pumpkin patches, apple picking, cold nights and pumpkin ale breweries, there is no where else that I'd rather live during this season.

Yesterday, J and I finally made it to the Jack-O-Lantern Spooktacular in Providence, RI. We've been dying to go over the last few years and always think about it after it's over! This place consists of hundred of carved lit pumpkins with some of them weighing over 1000 lbs.
It was only $12 bucks for admission and you can literally spend as long as you want in there. Due to J's back issues we could only stay for about 40 minutes, but it was just long enough to see everything! They have refreshments from cider to pumpkin ale and snacks like kettle corn and fried dough. *drool

The picture above was actually accompanied by techno Halloween music and fog machines. Ooontz oontz oontz.

And my personal favorite.....................

They were all amazing. We read on one of the info cards, that these intricate jacko's take between 25-32 hours to carve, EACH.

We finished off the night with some drive-thru Burger King and I came home to these sweet ladies on my steps....

Happy Tuesday Loveys!!!!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!!!

Since October is my birthday month AND anniversary month I have been spoiling myself and getting spoiled. Here are a few of my recent obsessions.
This is honestly the best facial cleanser that I have found in a while. It makes you feel super clean but doesn't dry you out. It's called "Purity" and Philosophy makes it.
Let me just say that this is God sent. This oil is for your face. I already have used Moroccan Oil on my hair for over 3 years and now I have found this awesome product for your skin. I use this oil only at night. Honestly, this product doesn't care if you have oily skin, your skin will just soak it right up and in the morning your face looks amazeballs.
I found this sweater on Pinterest and it lead me to keep.com
Keep.com led me to Sheinside. This sweater was originally super expensive and when I purchased it, it was on sale for $39 and I had a 15% off coupon. This has become my staple grab when running out the door on cooler fall mornings.
My husband bought me this for my birthday. Let's just say that I was more than surprised. To my knowledge, my present was the cruise that he gave me a few days before my birthday. But then....SURPRISE, he had this gorgeous handbag for me too. I'm obsessed with this bag. The leather is nice and firm so your bag doesn't flop all over the place. My sister and mom bought me the Hamilton wallet to make this a match made in heaven. Swoooon.
Another Pinterest find. I'm loving the winter, cozy, glam look for the living room. We are pretty much a pottery barn, distressed farmhouse with modern flares, so this style will go perfect in our home. If anyone knows where I can find the sparkle pillow, speak up please :)
And I'm sure that Josh is just going to love this post, considering he says that I already buy too many area rugs, throw pillows, throws and duvet covers. HA

What are you lovin????
