I can't believe I'm admitting to this.....

Some of  you have seen me talk about getting pregnant and maybe you have read this post before, but today I'm going to get a bit shallow on you.
I'm going to share some reasons why I'm afraid to get pregnant.

#1 Let's face it, pregnancy means no wine. Wine keeps me sane. How does one go 9 months with out the earth's merciful beverage?

#2 Dinner Plate areaolas. I've always prided myself on having good a breast to areaola ratio. I've read that when your pregnant your nipples get double and triple their size and they will turn black.
What's next, do they fall off?

#3 Stretch marks. I know this is a small price to pay for a baby and I also know that every woman says that she doesn't care that she has them. Well I'm going to care. I think that you are forced to stop caring about things that you cannot change.

I also don't care what anyone says. When I get preggers,  I'm going to slather that vitamin E, mederma, and cocoa butter all over my shit.

#4 I don't want to neglect my other "fur" children. I always notice that when someone has a baby, their instagram goes from pictures with their pooch to only pictures of the baby.
Did you give the dog away? What gives?

#5 Hemorrhoids. I may or may not have already had a small experience with this dirty word. NO BUENO!

#6  For a long time I was afraid that my body would go to shit after having a little one but
Jessica and Lauren have both proven that theory wrong.

With that being said..
Lets go Procreate!!!!

Lobstah Shenanigans

My weekend was a blast. Filled with fun, sun, food and naturally too much booze.

On Thursday night I came home and this little bugger came!

I have gone back and forth between the Polar
and the Bodybugg. The Bodybugg's progress is all tracked on-line and doesn't sync on it's own, it has to be uploaded by hand. The Polar heart rate monitor is super easy to use and let's face it, during my work out, the only thing that I want to be difficult is the work out.
So I tested it out on Friday morning, like a jackass in 83 degrees.
#jackass

Not too shabby for my first work out. I confess, I also wore this while I was blowing drying my hair. In my defense it takes me about 45 minutes from start to finish and I wanted to see if this type of exercising would allow me to sneak in another slice of pizza.
And No, the results were puny. But don't you worry, I will be wearing it during other activities and keep you filled in on those burned calories.

The rest of Friday was a beach day!!!
and my first experience with the beautiful mess app............LOVE!

Friday night it was too damn hot to cook so we grabbed a quick bite at a local joint and I had an AMAZING lobster roll! I think this is what set the tone for our weekend!

Sister Saturday was in full effect all day on Saturday. The weather was gorgeous and we bee-bopped around all day. But first we took Ms. Graycie for a coffee run.

Some good ol' Saturday day drinking pics with the hubs as our DD.

Saturday night's Shenanigans turned into a solo late night quad ride to the pond out back and early morning dirty breakfast sandwiches from Mc Donalds in which I continued to  burp up all day on sunday.

Sunday we relaxed, watched a movie, and ate this tiny crustacean.

He was only 7 lbs but he was massive, and full of meat! We even have left overs and with lobster that's unheard of with us. And for all of you instagrammers asking how did we cook it?
50 quart stock pot off of Amazon!!!

Happy work week lovelies!!!!

Blame in on the A-A-A-Alcohol Where Strawberry Daiquiris > Blogging

I may have started off this post with 3 different sentences and then hit backspace.
Have I forgotten how to blog?
I know it's been a while and if you want to know how a few of us feel, Rachel, has hit the nail on the head.

I've also come to the conclusion that blogging is a seasonal hobby, and it is not to be done when its 85 degrees out, sunny and there are Strawberry Daiquiris to be consumed.  Especially when you only get about 2 1/2 months of this fabulous weather!

I'm going to blame those Strawberry Daiquiris on my blogging hiatus and I'm sharing the recipe so you too can have a real excuse for your MIA to the blog world.

Ingredients
Flavored Vodka (I always buy cheap vodka for mixed drinks)
Coconut Rum
1 Bailey's Strawberry Daiquiri mixer
Fresh Cut lime/lemon
Ice
 Fancy Umbrella optional

You can find these in the freezer section at the Grocery Store

First, fill your blender to the top with ice and dump the can of strawberry mixer on top. Squish it down with the can.

Then fill the can with 1/3 Vodka and 2/3 coconut rum. Pour this slowly in to the top of the blender.
Blend on high until all of the ice is crushed and it's moving like a cycloooonnnee.

Enjoy and then passout take a nap!
*disclaimer. I assure you that she only had a sip and that no dogs were intoxicated for the nature of this post.
